What is Frontend Lab?
- Frontend Lab is a platform where you can practice real-world frontend development assessments. You can download starter files, Figma design, to build and submit your projects.
Is it free?
- Not all projects are free, there are premium challenges as well. We will continue adding more free challenges.
Who can use Frontend Lab?
- Frontend Lab is open to developers of all skill levels who want to practice and improve their frontend development skills. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced developer, you'll find assessments suitable for you.
How do I start an assessment?
- To start an assessment, choose the assessment you're interested in. You can either take a quiz or skip directly to the assessment. Click the 'Start Assessment' button on the assessment page. You'll be taken to the starter page, where you can download the starter files, including the Figma design and README file to help you get set up. We recommend starting with one of our Easy level assessments.
Can I use external libraries or frameworks?
- Yes you are free to use external libraries or frameworks to complete your project.
What if I need help during an assessment?
- The best way to get help with an assessment is through our Discord server. With thousands of developers available, it's an excellent place to ask questions. We even have a dedicated 'help' channel for your convenience!
How do I submit my completed assessment?
- Follow the submission instructions provided in the README.md file. To submit an assessment, click 'My Projects' on the sidebar and select the assessment you wish to submit. You'll be directed to the submission page, where you’ll need to provide GitHub link and live link for your project. Additionally, you will receive feedback for every assessment you submit.
How do I track my progress?
- You can keep track of your progress by checking 'My Projects' page.
